peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and
good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
{partiality: or, wrangling}
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that
make peace.

confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I
know that I shall not be ashamed.
1Pet 4:12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery
trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened
unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's
sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be
glad also with exceeding joy.
Jame 1:5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that
giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall

not under the law, but under grace.
Psal 119:11Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not
sin against thee.
Jame 1:13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:
for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any
man: {evil: or, evils}
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own
lust, and enticed.
Prov 28:13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso
confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.
1Joh 1:9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
1Pet 5:8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the
world.

he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord
hath promised to them that love him.

to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with

dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
1Pet 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be
found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ:
