Grace is when God gives us the good which we do not deserve. He gave us Jesus! So we could have life and life more abundantly. Grace opens the door to heaven…

Grace gives us things we don't really deserve - in our own self we don't even qualify. As is stated in Psalm 103:10, "He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities."  That is why He causes His sun to rise and the rain to fall on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45).  Praise God for His mercy and His grace

Mercy withholds the knife from the heart of Isaac…

Grace provides a ram in the thicket….Gen. 22:11-14

Mercy runs to forgive the prodigal…

Grace throws a party with a robe, a ring, and a fatted calf… Luke 15:20-24

Marcy hears the cry of the thief on the cross…

Mercy Converts Paul on the road to Damascus…

Grace calls him to be the Great Apostle…Acts 9:1-6, 17

Mercy closes the door to hell…

Grace opens the door to heaven…Eph. 2:8,9

        And the difference between Mercy and Grace is this…Mercy withholds from us what we deserve. Grace gives us what we do not deserve. Rom. 5:20
