The future is an unknown, but a somewhat predictable unknown. To look to the future we must first look back upon the past. That is where the seeds of the future were planted.   -Albert Einstein

Dr. Angelo Valleriani states that seeds are living embryos. Ann Wigmore writes in The Sprouting Book, "Seeds are the very core of life. All the energy and life of a plant goes toward making seeds. When air, water, and a suitable temperature are provided, a miracle begins-the seed begins to sprout, and an incredible flow of energy is released."

The laws governing seed and harvest on earth mirror the laws responsible for spiritual harvest. Centuries ago one of Job’s friends observed (Job 4:8), "Those who plow iniquity; and those who sow trouble harvest it."  Our actions are a mirror, reflecting the image of that which we plant in our lives.  Seeds multiply and produce after their own kind.  Hosea 8:7 says, "They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind.”  In due time the end result of choice, good or bad, swirl around us.  If you want to change; feed the good and starve the bad.  Max Depree said, “In the end, it is important to remember that we cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.  It’s a fact that when you’re through changing, you’re through.”  Right and proper action propitiates good and positive reaction. Every promise of God is a seed that produces after its own kind.

God gave His word so we will know what to believe. It is impossible to please God without faith and it is impossible to have faith without something to believe in (Hebrews 11:6). "Every promise of God is a revelation of what He is eager to do for His people."(T.L. Osborn). Promises produce miracles. When we plant God's seed (His word)  in our hearts, it will produce  an exceeding abundantly harvest above all that we ask or think.  (Ephesians 3:20)
