				Promises For When You Feel Angry

				James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be
				swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
				20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

				Ephe 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon
				your wrath:

				Prov 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words
				stir up anger.

				Matt 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
				Father will also forgive you:

				Prov 14:29 [He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great
				understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
				{hasty...: Heb. short of spirit}

				Prov 16:32 [He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the
				mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a
				city.

				Eccl 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger
				resteth in the bosom of fools.

				Roma 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather]
				give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I
				will repay, saith the Lord.

				Prov 25:21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and
				if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
				22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD
				shall reward thee.

				Hebr 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth]
				unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord
				shall judge his people.

				Ephe 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour,
				and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
				32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
				another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

				Matt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his
				brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and
				whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of
				the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in
				danger of hell fire. {Raca: that is, Vain fellow}
				23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there
				rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
				24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first
				be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

				Prov 14:16 A wise [man] feareth, and departeth from evil: but
				the fool rageth, and is confident.
				17 [He that is] soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of
				wicked devices is hated.

				Colo 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath,
				malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

				Psal 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself
				in any wise to do evil.
